Journeys in Film Creates Free Learning Guide for Trouble

Journeys in Film has released a new learning guide for The Trouble with Howard. The FREE materials for K-5 Grades enhances a read aloud lesson as well as challenges older readers with themes of sportsmanship, kindness to animals, and ponytails in the pits.  Everybody should be encouraged to pursue their dreams...and to dream big.  The material also includes a CBS newsreel of Caitlyn Brown with Team Penske.  While Anita Millican was the first women to go over the wall in IndyCar, 43 years later, Caitlyn was the first to win the Indy 500 doing the same for Josef Newgarden.  Here is a link to the download guide including a slideshow and printable handouts:  https://journeysinfilm.org/film/the-trouble-with-howard/

We hope everyone will enjoy getting into Trouble!

Journeys in Film is a 501(c)(3) that creates teaching materials for films and special books. It is a wonderful resource for teachers.
